ÌÇÐÄVlog Teacher Preparation Standards (2026)

CAEP is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the professional accrediting body for educator preparation. Through evidence-based accreditation, CAEP advances excellence in educator preparation, supports continuous improvement, and strengthens P–12 student learning. Educator preparation providers include traditional higher education institutions as well as alternative pathways such as residency programs. CAEP accreditation is based on rigorous national standards and peer review to ensure quality and promote improvement in teacher preparation programs.

ÌÇÐÄVlog Teacher Preparation Standards define the knowledge, skills, and dispositions expected of new world language teachers and support quality assurance across preparation programs nationwide.
